I am not a mother, unless you count our dogs. I am not much of a housekeeper, though I do try hard. I can cook just fine, but I hate to clean up after myself. That is the job of my dear hubby. I love to read, to the point I get into the current book and forget where I am and what all I have to do. I can decorate, and design; but I have very varied taste so it can get interesting. I hate spiders and snakes, yet if I could live in the deep country I would in a heartbeat.
We just moved back to Indiana. And we have SO much to do. I mean I am sitting in a kitchen chair, in the living room, using a t.v. table as a typing desk. I don't know where my mouse is, the home phone is m.i.a., and I am still looking for my toothbrush. But I am home, wait, we are home.
This blog is my journey, and my hubby's with me, of our settling in. We have a new home that needs much work. It isn't our home, we are just renting it, but we have free rein to do as much or as little as we want. And believe me when I say there is plenty to do. We love each other, the Lord, and our dogs. This is our story. Our journey, and we would love to share it with you.
